Storytelling Under the Cottonwood

Group activities are suspended during the pandemic.  Check back as restrictions are eased.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Nature Center features an hour of storytelling beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Native Plant Garden’s Outdoor Classroom. This monthly “edu-tainment” series presents multi-cultural folklore, natural history, and other participative stories, all adapted for small and tall alike. The storyteller’s interpretive style is both educational and entertaining, and particularly well-suited to those aged 5 to 10 years-old with an adult in attendance.
